Unlike the quartz version of the Santos, this more desirable mechanical example possesses an automatic movement and in a way showcases the timeless art of traditional watch making.
It is all-original and presents as gorgeous condition. It presents as about a 9.5 out of 10.
Its case presents as just short of perfect mint condition with light remnants of wear to the case back from the bracelet contacting it. Unlike many examples it still strongly retains its original lightly stamped serial number. Its untouched original dial is also mint. The bracelet has fairly mild stretch, and its finish presents as mint. On the wrist it presents nearly like new.
It has been freshly fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker (a $495 value).
It is running extremely accurately, keeping time like a new Cartier in our testing position.
The waterproofing gaskets in these are known for making the watch quite difficult to wind even after servicing. That is not the case with this one - it winds without difficulty. If you would prefer never to handwind the small, it's a great candidate to be placed on a watch winder for convenience.
